5100 SERIES SHOCKS
 Bilstein
teamed up with RCD Suspension to develop the 5100 Series
shock absorbers specifically built for lifted trucks
and SUV's. These shocks provide you with the same performance
advantages and features the Pro's use on their racing
trucks.
The
5100 Series offers world famous Bilstein technology
with applications for both stock height and lifted trucks,
Jeeps and prerunners. Stock height shocks come in the
traditional yellow finish with the light blue boot.
Lifted height 5100 series shocks have a great new polished
zinc finish with a black boot. You can tell which finish
the shock has by the part number. If the last two digits
are "H0" then it is the traditional yellow.
If the last two digits in the part number are "H5"
then it is the Zinc and black.
The
5100 Series Bilstein shock absorbers are designed for specific
manufactured lift kits utilizing the stock O.E.M. mounting
configuration. 5100 Series shocks feature Bilstein's
superior single tube high gas pressure design for the
utmost in consistent fade-free performance and long
life. Bilstein's patented Diressive self-adjusting valving
delivers improved damping control and a smooth ride
on all road surfaces at any speed. One
piece seamless monotube design dissipates heat more
effectively than a twin tube shock for cooler, more
efficient operation and longer life.
- The
largest available piston diameter (46mm) provides
superior handling and performance.
- Patented
digressive valving instantly reacts to changing surface
conditions for maximum comfort and control on and
off road.
- Split
compression and rebound valving tuned for each specific
application.
- Nitrogen
gas maintains constant pressure eliminating the possibility
of oil foaming, shock fade and performance loss.
- Both
upper and lower mountings are tapered eyelet with
a 5/8" hourglass bushing
- All
applications include 1/2" sleeves
- All
applications except BE5-6250 include boots
