Jack-it has put together 3 different suspension lift kit packages for the Ramcharger. The standard, deluxe & premium kits. These kits have been specifically designed for the exact year of your Ramcharger, with proper U-bolt sizes, steering corrections, all kits include Skyjacker softride front leaf springs. All Ramchargers had rear lift blocks from the factory, Jack-it will never double stack the rear blocks to get the lift because it creates a ton of axle wrap! We use a few different methods to lift the rear like add-a-leafs or a taller cast iron lift block or new Skyjacker soft ride rear leaf springs. All of these options will of course include rear u-bolts. A few notes to remember if you are going to lift your Ramcharger are that Ramchargers have a non-adjustable drag link from the factory which will make your steering wheels off center when you’re driving straight. The only way to correct this is to purchase an adjustable drag link (part # SKJ DL10) or you can pull your steering wheel off and re center it. The adjustable drag link will only fit the 78-93 years. Another problem is the front pinion angle if you’re lifting your Ramcharger 4” or more. The way the factory set the pinion angle in relation to the caster angle of your ball joints, after you lift the ramcharger, the pinion will no longer line up properly with the front drive shaft without causing your caster angle to be too far out of specifications. So your choices are to cut and re-weld your ball joint yokes on the front axle, or you can live with a little bit of front drive shaft vibration when in 4WD. If you have a full time 4WD we recommend that you convert it to a part time 4WD set up. Last of all, most Ramchargers we’ve lifted 4” or taller work best if a CV type rear drive shaft is installed to run smooth and not have any vibration out of the rear.
