SWAY BARS

FORD ANTI-SWAY BARS

Increasing anti-sway bar diameter, or adding a rear sway bar, can greatly improve handling and stability, whether in a sports car, a motor home or a heavily loaded truck. In a lowered or raised vehicle, anti-sway bars can also compensate for dynamic handling changes. Hellwig Anti-Sway Bars use 4140 chrome-moly spring-grade steel, and bars are entriely heat-formed and coined as one piece, for strength and resistance to torsion.

Anti-Sway Bars:
* come with a lifetime warranty
* are made of high-quality alloy spring steel
* are hot-formed and heat treated for strength

Body Roll Resistance

Body roll is reduced by the torsional effect of Hellwig Anti-Sway Bars, which transfer pressure from outboard wheels to inboard wheels in a turn. That means weight is more evenly distributed to all four wheels, helping to keep your vehicle more level with the road, and improving your overall control.

Pre-assemble the sway bar before installation. Install bar, making sure to leave it loose enough for as needed adjustments. When you are satisfied with the alignment of the end links and clearance on the bar, you can then tighten it to the recommend torque ratings.
