JEEP SUSPENSION LIFT KITS

JEEP 1941 - 1986 4WD WILLYS, CJ & SCRAMBLER SUSPENSION LIFT KITS

Jeep CJ with a 2" LiftBecause of Jeep’s long tradition of off road excellence, there are a lot more after market suspension products available for you to choose from than any other make of 4wd. Kits for the Jeep CJ and Scrambler are available in 1”, 2” & 4” lift heights. Depending on the application and the lift kit you choose, the following components are available:

• All four leaf springs are included in every kit. However, because the applications go from 1941 to 1986, they will vary in ride and off road capabilities. You may call us for specific details if you require more information.
• Upgrade Shackle Kits in stock and raised heights, greasable or non-greasable, are available. Greasable shackles help maintain a smoother suspension cycle by lubricating the bushings and sleeves which reduces friction and prolongs life. All upgrade shackles are built from high quality heavy gage steel which can handle up to three times the force of a factory shackle. This is very advantageous during strenuous side maneuvers. Shackle reverse kits which will improve driving quality as well as off road performance are also available—see page 79-80 for more details.
• We offer a complete line of polyurethane bushings which will allow your suspension to function properly and give a positive feel when accelerating, braking, cornering and taking off road obstacles. They are available in 16 different colors to improve the look and style of your off road machine.
• Stainless brake hoses (page 99-100) are available in extended lengths eliminating the need for bolt on extensions and allowing for more suspension travel. These hoses have a teflon inner bladder, shielded by an aircraft type flexible braided stainless steel exterior. These hoses will not dry rot-unlike rubber factory hoses-and they have a smaller inner bladder, which increases brake system response and will not swell under the strain of hard braking. These features improve braking performance and pedal feel which is a great advantage when running with larger and heavier tires and wheels.
• Steering upgrade systems are also available for your Jeep. If you have an older model, you can add power steering with a reinforcement kit to prevent frame cracking, or swap your outdated steering linkage with a newer style. These improvements will make your off roading experience more enjoyable and greatly improve handling.
• Sway bar “quick disconnects” (page 68) allow you to unhook your front sway bar in less than a minute— Simply pull the release pin. Amazingly, this will greatly improve your front and rear suspension travel which allows your tires to remain on the ground during serious off road driving conditions.

Other components that are included in kits when necessary are: drop pitman arms, sway bar extensions, transfer case drop kits, degree shims and tracking bar extensions. For a complete breakdown of kits and their respective components, click here.
