6" 1983-1997 Ford Ranger 4WD Budget Lift Kit
Ford designed and released these popular mid-size 4x4 vehicles using their twin I-beam front suspension - of twin traction beam (TTB) as Ford likes to call it. The difficulty with this design is that you raise the front of the vehicle the tops of the front tires lean outward creating positive camber angle. Due to the inconsistent factory height on these vehicles and very sensitive alignment tolerances, it is nearly impossible to properly align these twin i-beam vehicles once the have been lifted. Of course we have overcome this problem by including adjustable cam bolts and brackets in our complete packages.
Standard Kit Includes:
- Front BDS Suspension Coil Springs
- Drop Axle Pivot Brackets
- Radius Arm Drop Brackets
- Drop Pitman Arm
- Rear Lift Blocks
- Front and Rear Pro Comp Shocks
- Rear U-Bolts
- DOT approved Stainless Steel Brake Lines
|Lift Height||6 inch|
|Notes||Not cam bolt designed. Specify Power or Manual Steering. Due to heavy duty center pivots, will require camber bushing if camber eneds to be adjusted. This kit will double stack rear blocks and may increase axle wrap. Extended cab models will require carrier bearing shims # tuf_20819.
