SKYJACKER COLOR CHANGE

Skyjacker COLOR CHANGE

Beginning February 1st 2007, Skyjacker will begin to make the transition from their traditional Skyjacker Red powder coat, to a new “Bayou Black” powder coat which was on display in our booth at this years SEMA show.

From Red to Bayou BlackThis new color change is due to numerous requests from Skyjacker's Warehouse distributors, Jobbers and Consumers. Red doesn't always match the overall scheme of today's modern rides, but black is always fashionable and very universal.  Our new Bayou Black powder coating has a fine textured finish and is formulated to be 'slicker' than most textured powders while still providing a tough off-road look. The fine texture will also resist gathering mud, dirt, and grime more so than other, courser textured finishes.

All components will be going to the new Bayou Black powder coat, with the exception of some components that are zinc plated or billet aluminum, bushings and urethane components. This will be a running change beginning immediately, Skyjacker products with our new Bayou Black powder coat will utilize existing part numbers, but will be stamped “Black” on the box. Components on our late model IFS kits that are currently black are also changing to the new Bayou Black powder coat.

They plan to have this transition completed and shipping only "Bayou Black" components by June 2007.
