The Skyjacker S20RSW 2" Rear Lift Leaf Spring is a premium suspension upgrade designed for your 1972–1982 International Terra / Traveler 4WD. Built with Skyjacker’s proven Softride® technology, this replacement rear leaf spring improves ride quality, increases rear lift height, and enhances suspension flexibility for both street driving and off-road performance.

Each spring is individually shot-peened using high-velocity steel pellets to strengthen the steel surface, reduce stress fatigue, and extend spring life. This advanced manufacturing process helps improve long-term durability under demanding driving conditions.

Skyjacker’s tapered leaf design distributes loads more evenly across the spring pack while allowing greater flex at the leaf ends. The result is a smoother ride, better suspension articulation, and improved wheel travel compared to standard replacement springs.

Teflon® wear pads placed between the leaves help reduce friction, eliminate binding, and allow smoother spring movement through the suspension cycle. Bolt-style spring clips further improve leaf alignment while maintaining unrestricted movement.

Softride springs use 'bolt' style spring clips, eliminating friction. Other spring designs use the 'cinch' style bend clips which bend tightly over the spring leafs causing binding and friction. Skyjacker Softride springs taper over the entire width of the leaf creating more flex at the leaf ends. This tapering distributes loads more evenly over a greater area and reduces the tendency for one leaf to dig into the leaf above it.
