PU 1500/2500 1973-1978 GM w/ 6-8 inch Lift 4WD - Front Brake Lines

Extended Stainless Steel Brake Line kits are designed to replace stock rubber brake lines on vehicles. Steel braided lines will not swell under increased braking pressure demanded by larger tires, thus delivering a quick and positive braking response. All stainless steel hoses we sell comply with D.O.T. specifications.

Although extended length brake hoses are necessary on many suspension lift kit installations, labor to install the brake hoses themselves should be performed by a certified brake mechanic. Care must be taken to assure no interference of moving parts is encountered. Proper length and routing must also be used to eliminate any possibility of bind through the steering and suspension cycles.

1.This brake hose kit fits the light duty front disk brake calipers used on 70-78 GM 1/2 and 3/4 trucks (Heavy duty order SKJ FBL28)
2. Fits vehicles with 7/16 tread banjo bolts
3. Hose is 29 3/4 long from center of banjo bolt to end where hard line attaches
4. Takes the standard 3/16 line and 3/8 x 24 tpi brake line nut
5. This hose set uses and nut to attach the brake hose to the frame in place of the horse shoe style clip, this is a much more secure way to mount a brake hose.

Kit includes, pair of front hoses with nuts that attach to frame, 4 copper washers for banjo bolts, pair zip ties.
