High Steer System

The TeraFlex high steer system was originally designed to be used with the MAX LCG suspension, which utilizes a front 4-link triangulation (eliminating the trackbar). Many other applications can also benefit from this solution.

This kit will beef up the essential steering components of your Dana 80 front axle. The system includes a HD tie rode and drag link with one ton tie rod ends & tapered inserts, and the HD cast high steer knuckle.

(Note: The high steer system is not an all inclusive kit. Additional modifications will be reuiqred that are not included in the Teraflex high system. These modificatoins may include front swaybar links, front trackbar mountin, and offset wheels.)

The TeraFlex high steer system was originally designed to be used with our top of the line suspension system, the MAX LCG, which utilizes a front 4-link triangulation (eliminating the trackbar).

The TeraFlex high steer system will beef up the eseential steering components of your Dana 30 front axle. The system includes a HD tie rod and drag link with one ton tie rod ends & tapered inserts, new pitman arm, and the HD cast high steer knuckle.

(Note: The high steer system is not an all inclusive kit. Additional modifications will be required that are not included in the TeraFlex high steer system. These modifications may include front swaybar links, front trackbar mounting, and offset wheels.)

High Steer Knuckle

The TeraFlex Dana 30 High Steer Knuckle replaces the outer knuckle on the passenger's side with a new high steer knuckle. The knuckle features tapered inserts that make customizing easy by allowing the drag link (knuckle end) to enter from the top or the bottom of the steering arm. The tapered sleeves are available for the drag link to fit stock taper rod ends, or the large taper rod ends (standard Dana 60).

The new one-piece knuckle raises the steering arm position to correct the steering linkage geometry on vehicles with five or more inches of lift. This knuckles will work with many leaf spring suspensions (YJ) or custom link suspensions (like the Tera LCG system).

Custom tie rod & drag link (available separately from TeraFlex) are required. (Note: The stock OEM ends wil not work in place of TeraFLex's stock-taper one-ton end.)
