The
track-bar locates the body / frame in relation to
the front axle. The most common way the track bar
is mounted is from the passenger side of the front
axle up to the driver side frame rail - not all vehicles
are set up this way, but the concept is still the
same. When lifted, the body / frame shifts toward
the passenger side. This is definitely noticeable
with lifts over 4 inches - 3 inches to 4 inches is
considered borderline. If the vehicle is already lifted,
view it from the front and see if the tires are centered
underneath the body. Some people try to correct this
by sectioning and lengthening the stock bar. This
is not advisable because of the expertise required.
There are also brackets available to lower the stock
bar at it's frame attaching point. The problem is
that the amount the bar needs to be lowered (or lengthened)
is seldom the same from one vehicle to the next. When
using a drop bracket, you may get too much or not
enough body shift. Another problem is stress created
by the extra leverage of the longer bracket - eventually
this can lead to stress cracks in the frame rail.
The

by mounting in the original location and having enough
threaded length adjustment to cover up to 9"
lifts on certain application.
This
DoubleJointed Track Bar installs on the front
of Jeep YJ Wranglers (1987 - 1995). This bar has
Heim joints with left and rigth threads on both
ends for length adjustment. It works with stock
and lifted suspensions. This design eliminates
the riser bracket (provided by after market lift
kit manufacturers) at the axle end of the track
bar attachment which keeps the track bar parallel
to the steering drag link for zero bump steer.
It allows for greater suspension articulation
and controls side to side movement far better
than the stock bar. Front suspension only.

This
chro-moly adjustable track bar is made by Rubicon
Express, and is a great upgrade for any lifted
coil spring Jeep. It allows for increased wheel
travel, better front end alignment and improved
handling. This bar fits all XJ, TJ and ZJ model
Jeeps.
This heavy duty trackbar is designed to be used with the PRO LCG Suspension System, but can be used on other lift kits with over 5" of suspension lift. This trackbar must be used with the trackbar lowering bracket 1743031 to functon properly. Fits all TJ Wrangler models including the Rubicon and Unlimited.
