The BDS 1583F 4 inch premium coil-over suspension lift kit for the Ford F150 truck will allow for fitment of up to 35 inch diameter tires for a great off-road look. Featuring Fox 2.5 factory series remote reservoir coil-overs. These Fox 2.5 Coil-overs will enhance ride quality and handling in both on-road and off-road conditions. This lift kit also features 1/4 inch thick steel laser cut high clearance cross members that are designed to give maximum clearance and provide a rock solid mounting point for the factory lower control arms. A heavy duty front skid plates connects the cross members while protect steering and driveline components. Correct steering geometry is maintain using new ductile iron steering knuckles that keep the ESC system compatibility. CV axle angles are kept at a minimum using a front differential relocation system. The rear end is lifted using 3 inch tall axle blocks (replacing factory blocks) with extended U-bolts. Product Highlights Fox 2.0 Performance Series Fox 2.0 Performance Series shocks are included in this kit or offered as an upgrade option. These awesome shocks feature a 2 inch clear anodized aluminum one-piece body. Designed as a gas mono-tube with an internal floating piston (IFP) that has application specific valving for great on and off-road performance. Fox Coil-Over DSC Adjustment The included Fox coil-overs can be upgrade or include the awesome DSC (dual speed compression) adjuster. This feature allows you the ability to control how soft or stiff your coil-overs will ride at both low and high speeds. Simply turn one of two dials, each with over 10 click positions. Steering Knuckles Included are two heavy duty steering knuckles. These CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles replace the lighter duty factory knuckles. Powder coated to survive the elements. Providing a safe and stable method to correct steering geometry on a lifted vehicle.
Important Notes 18" or larger diameter wheels required. Stock 17" and 18" wheels cannot be re-installed. Stock 20" wheels can be used with up to a 305/60R20 tire. 18" wheels with 5-5.5" backspacing should be test fit prior to mounting the tire to ensure proper clearance to the steering knuckle/tie rod. 5.5" backspacing is highly recommended for tire to frame crash bar clearance. Models with 2-piece rear driveshaft WILL require carrier bearing shim kit 122406 (not included w/ kit) Block kits replace factory 1-1/4" block. Stock block will not be reinstalled. Crash bars may require modification based on wheel and tire choice. It is the end users responsibility to ensure modifications are non-detrimental to vehicle safety. Does NOT fit diesel models Will not work with Tremor models Some trucks with a 2 piece drive shaft may have a recall from Ford regarding the rear driveshaft.
