Our 4WD Ford twin I-beam coil spring systems are extremely versatile to fit your specific needs - whether you want a basic ‘face-lift' while maintaining excellent highway performance, or need to increase suspension travel for backwoods trips or even serious off roading. We are able to accommodate these diverse needs by creating unique packages for each specific application. All our packages include coil springs which are specifically engineered to operate with each vehicles suspension needs. They are made from 5160 chromium alloy and are refined using shotpeening technology to create longer life and a stronger tensile strength. The coils are pre-settled to reduce height changes. A tough baked on powder coating is applied to protect against corrosion and rust. Due to the inconsistent factory height on these vehicles and very sensitive alignment tolerances, it is often impossible to properly align the vehicle once it has been lifted. We have overcome this problem by using adjustable center axle pivot drop brackets which contain a unique cam bolt used to adjust camber. This all but eliminates the need for expensive camber bushings. In extreme cases, the combination of camber bushings and adjustable center axle pivot drop brackets can be utilized to solve camber problems that, otherwise, are impossible to correct. We also offer Deluxe packages that include a steering stabilizer, poly bushing components and Premium packages which incorporate extended radius arms that are 15 inch longer than stock arms - increasing articulation by up to 30 precent. The length and design of these arms also decrease the degree of caster change the vehicle experiences as it goes through the suspension cycle. These arms accomplish this without decreasing the turning radius of the vehicle. The Premium packages also include rear Skyjacker Softride leaf springs. They are a two stage progressive multi-leaf pack which makes the load carrying capabilities equal to or greater than the factories GVWR specifications. They are tapered cut and shotpeened to provide an excellent ride and superior strength. Top quality steel is used in the construction as well as teflon friction pads which reduce inter-leaf wear. When the spring is compressed the pads will allow the leafs to slide against each other. This provides an excellent ride in addition to superior suspension travel.
