This 6-inch lift kit for the GMC 4WD 3/4-ton pickup is a special premium package that Jack-It has put together. It will allow for the use of larger-diameter tires and replace worn front and rear leaf springs. We use only high quality components from top brands like Skyacker and more in this kit.  Since 1994, we have specialized in lifted vehicles and know the importance of getting all the parts required to do the job correctly. This kit features extra components not found in a standard lift kit. 

This kit features Skyjacker front and rear leaf springs, which provide very good ride quality, performance, and reliability. Rear springs are available 52 inches or heavy-duty 56 inches long, depending on what length factory springs are used on your vehicle. Properly sized U-bolts with hardware are provided for the front and rear axles. A front sway bar shackle drop kit includes poly bushings and will maintain proper angles to eliminate binding.

Recognizing the challenges posed by aging components, we eliminate concerns by ensuring that 30-50-year-old spring bolts and bushings are replaced with fresh, high quality upgrades, guaranteeing longevity and durability.

The inclusion of a raised steering arm maintains correct steering angles, keeping your full turning radius and handling in check. We include new lock nuts and cone wedges, while most kits require you to reuse the stock hardware. Extended stainless steel brake hoses are included, safeguarding against overstretching of outdated brake hoses during off-road excursions. Note: GM 3/4 ton models came equipped with either heavy-duty or light-duty brake systems from the factory; the front brake hoses are different where the hose connects to the caliper (see photo above to identify your brake hose style needed).

Skyjacker BlackMax: These heavy-duty shocks are a great option for lifted vehicles. They feature heavy-duty twin-tube hydraulic construction, polyurethane bushings, and a black boot. The all-black shock body looks awesome while providing great suspension performance.

Fox 2.0 Adventures Series Shocks:  These Fox shocks are a mono-tube gas design. These wll give provide a comfortable on-road ride and controlled off-road handling, they use a 2 inch OD alloy body construction with a large 5/8 inch heat treated hard chrome plated shaft for increased strength and durability.

Installation Note:

Possible exhaust modification needed for crossover pipe to clear front driveshaft at full droop, also check for bind on the front double cardon joint on the front drive shaft at full droop, may have to clearance the ears or swap to higher angle joint. If your vehicle is an 81-87 model year you have the option to order the extra 2 front shocks if you have the front factory quad shocks option.
