Jack-it's Company History
When I started Jack-It back in 1994, it was just me, a small shop, and a commitment to doing things right. I saw a need in the industry—customers were buying lift kits that weren’t complete or properly matched to their vehicles, and many companies didn’t offer installation support. I wanted to change that.
From day one, the goal was simple: build a company that treats customers the way I’d want to be treated—honestly, fairly, and with real knowledge behind every recommendation. That meant creating complete suspension packages, making sure customers got exactly what they needed, and standing behind what we sell.
What started as a small install shop quickly grew into a national mail-order business, then an e-commerce leader. Along the way, we’ve stuck to our roots: doing quality work, offering expert advice, and building long-term relationships with our customers and vendors. We’ve had some big milestones—moving from a 4-bay shop to a 60,000 sq ft headquarters—but what hasn’t changed is our passion for suspension, trucks, and making sure every customer is taken care of.
If you’re new to Jack-It, welcome. If you’ve been with us for years, thank you. We’re proud of where we’ve been, excited about where we’re going, and grateful for every person who’s been part of this ride.
