The AirLift 1000HD air bag spring kit 60828HD for the Dodge Ram 1500 is a great suspension upgrade to give your rear suspension additional level load capacity (add 2,100 lbs of level load capacity).  Ideal for when towing or hauling a heavier than normal load to keep the rear of the vehicle from sagging while maintaining a stable, safe and comfortable ride. These air bags mount inside of the factory coil springs and use the power of air to give additional support to the springs.  Fully adjustable from 5 to 35 PSI.

Air Pressure Control
Air Lift air bag springs include a Schrader valve to manual adjust air pressure. However a much more convenient solution is to purchase one of Air Lift's many air compressor systems. Before Installing Air Springs
When hauling or towing a heavy load a common issue is the vehicle's rear sagging. This causes various issues for drivers including bottoming out, trailer sway, rough ride, light steering feel, poor headlight angle along with bouncing or bucking.
After Installing Air Springs
Once installed air helper springs will help to remove sagging with the use of air pressure. Along with removing sag the air bags will improve sway control and handling. Ride conditions generally improve greatly with a less harsh ride and less body roll.
