The BDS BDS848PES 2-Inch Suspension Leveling Kit with FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series Coilovers and rear shocks for 2025-up Toyota 4Runner models increases front ride height, improves tire clearance, and enhances suspension performance while maintaining controlled street handling. The system combines FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series front coilovers and rear shocks with heavy-duty BDS tubular upper control arms engineered for the increased suspension height. Two damping configurations are available: FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series with standard tuning or FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series with HD tuning for builds carrying additional vehicle weight.

Heavy-duty BDS upper control arms are constructed from 1.5-inch DOM steel tubing to provide increased strength over the factory components while improving suspension geometry at the taller ride height. Corrected ball joint positioning helps maintain favorable operating angles and increases usable suspension travel compared with the factory upper control arms. The revised geometry also supports proper alignment and controlled wheel movement, creating a stronger front-suspension foundation for 4Runner builds used on pavement and off-road.

FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series coilovers and rear shocks use 2.5-inch impact-extruded aluminum bodies and external reservoirs to increase oil capacity and improve heat management during demanding use. Large 7/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shafts provide greater durability, while Dual Speed Compression adjustment lets you tune low-speed and high-speed compression damping separately with an adjustment knob mounted on the reservoir. This adjustability lets you tailor suspension response to terrain, vehicle load, and driving speed while maintaining consistent damping performance across changing conditions.

The standard FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series configuration provides premium adjustable damping for daily driving, trail use, and demanding off-road terrain. The FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series HD Tune configuration uses application-specific heavy-duty valving designed to better control 4Runner builds carrying additional weight from armor, bumpers, rooftop tents, recovery equipment, camping gear, and other accessories. Both configurations provide approximately 2 inches of front lift and clearance for up to 33-inch tires, combining improved suspension geometry, adjustable FOX damping, and increased tire clearance in a performance-focused leveling system.
