The Bilstein B8 8112 system features ZoneControl CR DSA+ technology, utilizing a triple piston design that provides three stages of compression valving and two stages of rebound control. This position-sensitive damping system keeps the suspension comfortable during everyday driving while delivering greater control during large suspension inputs, such as dips, bumps, and aggressive off-road obstacles.

External click adjuster knobs enable precise Dual Speed Adjustment of low- and high-speed compression damping, allowing the suspension to be tuned for specific driving conditions. The system also includes an adjustable internal hydraulic bump stop known as JCO (Jounce Cut Off), which provides additional bottom-out protection during hard compression events. A threaded spring seat allows ride height adjustments from 0–3 inches depending on application requirements.

A remote reservoir improves cooling capacity and helps maintain consistent damping performance during demanding off-road use. Combined with Bilstein’s large 2.65" shock body and 60mm piston, the B8 8112 coilover system provides improved suspension stability, ride comfort, and the ability to quickly adapt suspension tuning for changing terrain.
