Carli Suspension's CS-CA-MS-10 Extended Control Arm Kit for the Dodge Ram 3500 are designed for models lifted 3 inches in the front to re-center the front axle.

The 1994-2013 Ram 2500/3500 features a 5-Link front suspension with upper and lower control arms that stabilize the axle's fore/aft position, while the track bar reduces lateral movement. Raising the front end of a straight axle truck pushes the axle away from the frame at ride height. However, this can lead to an off-center front axle unless the appropriate linkages are addressed. Carli designed systems provide 2.5"-3"of front lift. A 3-inch lift shifts the axle 3/4 inch toward the driver’s side and 1/2 inch back toward the cab. While factory control arms and track bars work, Carli recommends an adjustable track bar for improved axle positioning and extended control arms for better axle centering. Carli arms are constructed from 0.120″ Box Steel and precision machined joint-cups. The mild-steel center sections are strategically welded inboard to optimize tire clearance.

Carli's standout feature is the spherical bearing arms, superior to hat-bushing arms. Spherical joints allow more lateral misalignment and effectively handle the axle's non-linear movement. Their proprietary bushings and joint washers surround a machined 17-4 Stainless ball center, held by a snap-ring and equipped with a zerk fitting for maintenance. They've evolved from Currie Johnny Joints to in-house machined Stainless ball centers, more resistant to corrosion and stronger. These ball centers are oversized for increased contact area with control arm mounts. In collaboration with Energy Suspension, they have engineered new RED bushings with grease channels for easy lubrication and joint articulation. Unlike old bushings, these provide more room for grease and joint movement.
