Carli Suspension CS-DRSMD Weld-In Rear Driver side Shock Mount for the Dodge Ram 2500 / Ram 3500 is a necessity when running 3.0 diameter shocks. The existing rear shock mounts of the factory are suitable for accommodating Carli 2.5″ remote reservoir shocks. However, when the valving becomes complex or when shocks larger than 2.5″ are installed, it becomes necessary to address the vulnerability of the driver's side upper rear shock mount. To ensure durability, we have constructed the mount from fully boxed and welded 3/16″ cold-rolled steel, making it stronger than the cross member it will be welded onto. Additionally, we recommend implementing triangulation between the Carli Driver shock mount, crossmember, and frame rail for added strength.
