The Carli UnChained 3.5 Shock Package is engineered for drivers who demand extreme off-road performance and are willing to build the rest of the truck to match it. Where Carli’s Performance 2.5” Long Arm system is more balanced, the UnChained package pushes capability to the edge—delivering a more aggressive, off-road–focused tune that will ride firmer on pavement, yet still far smoother and more controlled than stock.

This system is designed for applications where suspension capability exceeds the factory chassis limits. At this level, Carli strongly recommends a roll cage, as the suspension can handle terrain well beyond what the truck was originally designed to endure.

Up front, the UnChained system features massive 3.5-inch King remote reservoir shocks with long travel and an off-road–oriented Carli tune. In the rear, the package is anchored by Carli-tuned King 3.0-inch, 4-tube bypass shocks. These bypass shocks provide dramatically increased bottom-out resistance compared to smooth-body shocks and allow the user to fine-tune rear ride characteristics to suit driving style, load, and terrain.

As with all Carli King-based systems, the shocks utilize 17-4 stainless steel shafts, machined from solid stock for exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and long-term durability. The result is a suspension package built for sustained abuse, high-speed off-road control, and unmatched confidence in extreme conditions.

Due to the size and travel of these shocks, fabrication and modification are required. Shock towers and rear crossmember gussets are mandatory, and the factory coil buckets must be bored to 4.5 inches. For maximum reliability and structural integrity, fabricated axle trusses and rear shock mounts are highly recommended.
