Carli Suspension's CS-FSHACKLE-11 is a Premium, Fabricated Leaf Spring Shackle kit for your Ford F250 or F350. These heavy duty shackles are built from 1/4 inch steel construction and are greaseable and rebuildable. In contrast to the factory vulcanized bushings (which can be a significant portion of therough ride experienced in Super Duty's), the Carli shackle bushing assembly utilizes more bushing material and a thinner sleeve to prioritize ride damping. Moreover, the bushings are serviceable. You can droop the rear end and grease them through the protected zerk fitting.
These heavy duty Carli shackles are a cost-effective method to improve the ride on the rear end of your Ford truck, and works wonders by offering both serviceability and rebuildability. It is a worthwhile upgrade for your truck, even if you have factory leaf springs.

Jack-it Pro Tips and Advice
A significant portion of the rough ride experienced with the F250 / F350 rear can be attributed to the factory vulcanized bushings in the leaf spring pack and shackle. Although the factory shackle is robust, its design doesn't prioritize a smooth ride. This is understandable since the F250/F350 is built for towing rather than providing comfort. The factory leaf springs are designed with high spring rates and short travel, so it wouldn't make sense for Ford to create a shackle that offers a smooth ride and extended suspension travel. Vulcanized bushings are press-fit bushings commonly used by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), where the bushing material is adhered to both points of contact. In this case, the black bushing material installed into the factory shackle is adhered to both the shackle itself and the crush sleeve the bolt goes through. However, the crush sleeve is quite thick, resulting in a very thin actual bushing. When the bushing is designed to move only as much as it can deflect, and the deflection is minimal, it adversely affects the ride quality.
Important Notes
These shackles are NOT designed to add any additional lift to the rear of the vehicle.
