The Cognito 110-91256 Shock Extender Kit is engineered to improve front suspension performance on ZR2 trucks equipped with Multimatic DSSV front shocks. In stock form, these vehicles offer approximately 2 inches of droop travel, which can result in a harsh ride when encountering dips, gutters, or uneven terrain.

Cognito developed this kit to maximize available suspension travel by precisely determining the ideal spacer thickness, increasing droop travel to just over 3 inches — a 50% improvement over factory travel. This additional droop provides noticeably better compliance over bumps and reduces the harsh sensation of the front suspension topping out.

Manufactured from billet aluminum and finished in a blue anodized coating to complement the DSSV shocks, these spacers are designed for durability, precision fitment, and clean aesthetics. Installation is straightforward, making this an excellent DIY upgrade that typically takes about an hour to complete.
