This Jack-It 4-inch Premium Suspension Lift Kit for the 1976–1977 Ford F-150 4WD builds on our comprehensive 4” system by upgrading the rear suspension with complete replacement rear leaf springs, heavy-duty shackles, and a new spring eye bolt kit.

The Premium Package stands apart because it fully replaces the rear leaf springs rather than relying on an add‑a‑leaf stacked onto fatigued factory springs. This complete upgrade includes brand‑new multi‑leaf rear spring packs, heavy‑duty rear shackles, and a full spring eye bolt kit—all designed to restore the suspension’s original strength and geometry. Together, these components bring back the correct arch and ride height, significantly improve load handling and towing stability, eliminate sag caused by worn OE leaf packs, and deliver a smoother, more controlled ride overall.

This kit also includes the same front-end geometry corrections as our standard kit, addressing common negative-caster issues on lifted 1976–1977 F‑150 4WD models. It achieves this through a complete set of correction components—including radius arm drop brackets with C‑bushings, an adjustable front track bar, a track bar angle correction bracket, a drop pitman arm, an adjustable drag link, and a full T‑style steering conversion—all working together to restore proper alignment and steering feel. The result is noticeably improved return‑to‑center, straighter and more stable highway tracking, and a more confident overall steering response.

Steering Upgrade: This kit includes an adjustable drag link and lower tie rod assembly that are designed to convert the older Y-Style steering to the T-style (standard on 1978-1979 models). Improving the steering response, durability, and alignment stability. This is a major upgrade over many kits that retain factory steering.
