2.5" 1973-1987 GMC 3/4 ton Pickup 4WD Budget Lift Kit by Jack-It

Jack-it has assembled these 2-inch Budget lift packages for the 1973-1987 GMC 3/4 ton 4WD pickup. We start with the Superlift 2-inch front springs with u-bolts. Jack-it likes these springs because they are a 5-leaf spring pack with a 526LB spring rate. Springs include poly bushings; these bushings are the large side wall bushings. We use a 2” rear block kit and then front and rear Skyjacker BlackMax (Qty 4) shocks.  With your choice of shock boot color. Jack-it adds the front poly upper shackle bushings and a front spring and shackle eye bolt kit

There are a couple of options that you will want to check.  The 1976 model year swapped from a Dana 44 front axle to a GM 10-bolt front axle, so we have the kits with the proper u-bolts for each axle. Most vehicles built in June 76 and earlier have the Dana 44. If you have the factory dual front shock set up, you must order the two extra front shocks. Also, check if your vehicle has the rear brake load valve. 81-87 model years can have this option; if your vehicle does, you will want to order that rear extension bracket. Last, you can purchase an optional drop pitman.
