The Icon Vehicle Dynamics 57870EP 2.5 VS (vehicle-specific valving) PB (piggyback reservoir) CDEV (compression damping electronic valve) Aluminum Series Shock Absorbers for the Toyota Land Cruiser models are a high-tech suspension upgrade. They feature a massive 2.5-inch 6061 aluminum body that increases oil capacity and houses a 7/8-inch diameter chrome shaft. The piggyback reservoir improves performance by adding more oil capacity for better heat dispersion and resistance to fading.

These shocks feature the CDE valve that electronically controls damping by regulating oil flow through the valve. This infinitely variable valve can react in less than 40ms and has the ability to make exact adjustments for varying terrain. Powered by ICON Intelligent Control (sold separately) and proprietary ICON mobile app, the system uses information from the onboard G-force sensor and Gyroscope to perform calculations based on algorithms and user-defined settings to predict terrain and adjust shock settings via the CDEV accordingly.
