Are TerraSport Shocks a Lift Kit?
While TerraSport shocks and struts are technically not called lift kits, they will accomplish the same thing, but they will have the added benefit of improved suspension dampening when off-roading.
Most lift kits will use strut spacers to lift CUVs. The TerraSport utilizes a longer shock/strut body that adjusts where the spring seats rest. This effectively pushes the OEM springs upward to provide the additional lift height.
