The Skyjacker C160BKSD8 6-Inch Suspension Lift Kit for 1988-1991 Chevrolet Suburban 3/4-Ton 4WD models is designed to provide increased ground clearance, improved suspension capability, and a commanding lifted stance for classic full-size Suburbans. This complete suspension system utilizes replacement front and rear leaf springs to achieve 6 inches of lift, providing a spring-based suspension upgrade at both ends of the vehicle. Multiple Skyjacker shock options allow the system to be configured for different ride and performance preferences.

The C160BKSD8 includes replacement front and rear leaf springs along with new front and rear U-bolts for a complete suspension lift foundation. Using replacement leaf springs at both ends raises the vehicle through the suspension itself while providing the additional height needed for increased ground clearance and off-road use. The system is designed for an intermediate installation without cutting or welding.

Available shock configurations include Skyjacker Black MAX shocks for dependable everyday performance, Hydro 7000 hydraulic shocks for smooth and controlled damping, Nitro 8000 nitrogen-charged shocks for increased control, and M95 monotube shocks for enhanced damping consistency and heat management. Application-specific components may also be required depending on vehicle equipment, including sway bar lowering brackets, extended brake lines, or driveline and exhaust modifications.
