The system combines 8-inch Skyjacker Softride front leaf springs with 6-inch Softride rear leaf springs and 2-inch tapered rear lift blocks to achieve the full lift height. With clearance for up to 39x12.50 tires, the C180AKSD provides the additional height needed for aggressive classic Suburban builds while maintaining a functional suspension configuration for street and off-road driving.

Skyjacker Softride leaf springs form the foundation of the suspension system, providing the increased ride height while allowing controlled suspension movement and articulation. The 8-inch front springs establish the taller front suspension geometry, while the 6-inch rear springs work together with 2-inch tapered blocks to produce the matching rear lift. Front and rear U-bolts, suspension hardware, and brake line extensions are included to support the increased suspension height and complete the core front-to-rear lift package.

The C180AKSD can be ordered without shocks or configured with Skyjacker Hydro 7000, Nitro 8000, BlackMAX, or M95 shocks. Hydro 7000 shocks use velocity-sensitive hydraulic damping for smooth and predictable ride control, while Nitro 8000 shocks feature a 150 PSI gas-charged design for more responsive suspension performance. BlackMAX shocks utilize a foam-cell hydraulic design for consistent damping, while M95 shocks feature a 200 PSI gas-charged monotube design with an internal floating piston for improved heat management and precise suspension control under more demanding conditions.
