The Skyjacker C225AKSS 2.5-Inch Suspension Lift Kit for 1967-1972 Chevy 1/2-Ton and 3/4-Ton Suburban 4WD models is a complete front and rear leaf spring suspension system designed to increase ground clearance, improve tire clearance, and create a more capable lifted stance. The system combines Skyjacker Softride front and rear leaf springs with front and rear U-bolt kits, suspension bushings, and supporting hardware for a comprehensive suspension upgrade. Shock configurations include no shocks, Hydro 7000 shocks, Nitro 8000 shocks, BlackMAX shocks, or M95 shocks.

Skyjacker 2.5-inch Softride front leaf springs replace the factory spring packs to increase front ride height while maintaining controlled suspension movement and useful articulation. At the rear, 4-inch Softride leaf springs replace the factory rear spring packs to establish the proper lifted stance for the longer and heavier Suburban platform. The matched front and rear replacement spring configuration provides a complete spring-based suspension upgrade while increasing chassis clearance for larger tires and uneven terrain.

Front and rear U-bolt kits secure the replacement leaf springs to the axles, while the included suspension bushings support smooth and controlled spring movement at the mounting points. Softride leaf spring construction is designed to balance increased ride height with predictable road manners and suspension flexibility for trail use. The C225AKSS supports tire sizes up to 34x12.50 with properly configured wheels, providing additional clearance while retaining the proven leaf-spring architecture of the classic Chevy Suburban.

You can order the C225AKSS without shocks or with Skyjacker Hydro 7000, Nitro 8000, BlackMAX, or M95 shocks. Hydro 7000 shocks provide velocity-sensitive hydraulic damping for smooth, predictable ride control, while Nitro 8000 shocks use a 150 PSI gas-charged design for firmer, more responsive damping. BlackMAX shocks feature foam-cell hydraulic technology for consistent performance, while M95 shocks use a 200 PSI gas-charged monotube design with an internal floating piston for improved damping consistency and heat management.
