Skyjacker Suspensions Systems Features: DUAL RATE-LONG TRAVEL coil springs - Designed specifically for the JL to ensure superb highway ride quality like stock & extreme performance during off-road use.

DUAL RATE-LONG TRAVEL coil springs utilize 2 separate spring rates designed into 1 coil spring:

1) 1st spring rate – (Top 4-6 coils) Offers exceptional highway ride as they are close together & offer a much lower spring rate than the 2nd rate of coils below them. The top coils will expand open during articulation as the suspension droops allowing the tires to stay in contact with ground (unlike single rate or progressive coils). Also, the coils will remain in the upper coil bucket at full droop.

2) 2nd spring rate (lower stack of coils) only engage after compression past the 1st stack of coils. The second rate offers consistent control & stability during body roll and heavy off-road suspension movement or articulation during extreme off-road use.
