The BellyUp increases your ground clearance by up to 2-3/8 inch inches by replacing the factory skid plate with a lower-profile heavy duty skid plate. The BellyUp is manufactured with stronger and heavier materials than the stock plate to provide superior protection to your undercarriage. A one-inch body lift (Part #1948100) is recommended with Rubicon applications for proper transfer case clearance. Some exhaust adjustment may be necessary. Important NotesThis kit provides the maximum amount of ground clearance possible, but requires some fine tuning and adjustment to eliminate driveshaft vibration. Engine Spacer: This kit may require the use of a 5/8 inch engine spacer for proper fan shroud clearance when used with a 1 inch body lift. (Part #1948100) Short shaft kit: This kit will require the use of the TeraFlex short shaft kit (Part #4444400 or 4444401). Lowering kit: Because the BellyUP can make driveshaft angles severe, a lowering kit (Part #1900100 for a one-inch drop or Part #1900000 for 1/2 inch drop) will decrease the severity of that angle. This issue is common when the BellyUP is combined with an 4 inch suspension system. A compressor mounting bracket will be required for Rubicon models (Part # 4847400). Call us for more details.
