This Zone Off-Road C19 6 inch lift kit for 1977 thru 1987 GMC 1/2 ton pickup truck 4wd models is a great way to replace worn front springs while giving your truck a great new look. Once installed this kit will allow for use of up to 37 inch tires. Featuring front leaf springs that use a 5 leaf pack with anti-friction pads and center leaf spacer plates between each leaf. This design significantly decreases leaf pack internal friction for a smooth and consistent spring rate. A raising steering arm corrects steering angles and brake lines relocation brackets allow use of factory lines. The rear is easily lifted using cast iron lift blocks, add-a-leafs and extended ubolts. Important Notes- Some models may require the transfer case drop kit C5001 listed in the accessories to alleviate driveshaft vibration. - The front driveshaft may need to be clearanced at the double cardan joint to prevent binding at full droop on some models. - The front exhaust cross-over pipe may need to be modified to clear the front driveshaft on some models. - Note: If purchasing this lift kit without shocks please be sure to supply extended shocks which are required to install the kit properly.
