The BDS Suspension BDS179FS / BDS179H No Torsion Bar Drop System will make your Chevy Silverado 1500 look like a lifted 2007-2008 design. The torsion bars are mounted directly to the top of the lower a-arm eliminating the need to drop the torsion bar crossmember. Integrated with our unique BDS High Clearance Lift System this 6-1/2 inch suspension lift kit offers more ground clearance than any comparable lift kit. The high arched crossmembers maximize ground clearance while creating improved operating geometry. A front skid plate and differential skid plate are included to lock everything together as well as offer extreme off road protection and improved performance. The rear is lifted with a block and add-a-leaf to level your truck. This highly customizable kit gives you the choices you need to build your rig to your personal specifications. GM High Clearance CrossmembersUtilized in this kit are high clearance crossmembers. These integrate with a heavy duty skid plate to form a solid sub-frame while dramatically increasing ground clearance at the front crossmebmers.  Steering KnucklesIncluded are two heavy duty steering knuckles. These CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles replace the lighter duty factory knuckles. Powder coated to survive the elements.
