BDS1225H, BDS1225FS, and BDS1225FPE 4" 4-Link Lift Kits upgrade the suspension performance, stability, and ride quality of Ford F-450 Super Duty trucks. Designed for towing, hauling, and off-road capability, this system replaces the factory radius arms with a heavy-duty 4-link configuration that improves axle control, reduces suspension bind, and delivers smoother suspension movement throughout the entire range of travel.
The BDS 4-link conversion optimizes suspension geometry by maintaining more consistent caster angles and reducing anti-dive during braking. Heavy-duty ¼" steel brackets mount high-strength upper and lower control arms to properly position the axle while limiting caster change throughout suspension travel. Full-length BDS Pro-Ride coil springs provide the correct 4" lift height while delivering smooth and predictable ride quality across a variety of terrain conditions.
To maintain proper steering geometry on lifted vehicles, the system includes a forged drop pitman arm and heavy-duty track bar relocation bracket to keep steering and track bar angles properly aligned while recentering the front axle. The result is improved stability, better steering response, and increased suspension articulation compared to factory suspension components.
BDS1225H includes BDS NX2 Nitro Series shocks designed for dependable daily driving comfort and durability. BDS1225FS includes FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks featuring a monotube aluminum body with internal floating piston technology for improved heat dissipation and consistent damping performance. BDS1225FPE includes FOX 2.5 Performance Elite shocks with external reservoirs and DSC (Dual Speed Compression) adjusters, which allow independent tuning of high- and low-speed compression for maximum control on- and off-road.

Supports up to 37" tires with appropriate wheel specifications
Recommended tire size: 37 x 12.5
Recommended wheel size: 18 x 9 or 20 x 10
Important Notes
Fits diesel models only
These kits are designed for the F-450-style front end. They do not work with the standard Ford Super Duty F-250/350 axle width.
Vehicles with radius arm-mounted ride height sensors will require BDS123303
Larger tires on stock wheels are not recommended due to the required brake line clearance. Use the recommended specifications listed in the tire and wheel fitment section.
Installation requires a torque wrench capable of 405 ft-lbs.
Recalibration of your vehicles' Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) cameras, radars, light detection and ranging (LiDAR), and other sensors may be necessary by your local dealership or ADAS service center. This will ensure proper functionality of vehicle features such as lane-keeping, lane-departure, parking assistance, blind-spot detection, adaptive cruise control, and other functions, as they did prior to installation. Please connect with your local dealership or ADAS service center. As with a wheel alignment, all charges and expenses that may arise from dealership calibrations and adjustments are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
