BDS1226H, BDS1226FS, and BDS1226FPE 4" Radius Arm Lift Kits improve suspension strength, stability, and ride quality on Ford F-450 Super Duty trucks. Designed for drivers who want dependable performance without unnecessary complexity, this system replaces the factory-stamped-steel radius arms with heavy-duty tubular radius arms that deliver improved durability, a consistent steering feel, and reliable performance under heavy towing, hauling, or off-road use.
The heavy-duty BDS radius arms mount directly in the factory location and feature caster adjustment to properly align the front axle across a wide range of lift heights. Built from high-strength DOM steel, the arms restore proper suspension geometry while maintaining predictable handling and reducing tire wear or steering wander. OE-style rubber bushings at the frame mounts isolate noise and vibration while providing smooth, maintenance-free operation for long-term reliability. Full-length BDS Pro-Ride coil springs provide the correct 4" lift height while maintaining smooth ride quality and predictable suspension performance across a variety of driving conditions. To maintain proper steering geometry, the system includes a forged drop pitman arm and heavy-duty track bar relocation bracket that keep the steering and track bar operating in phase while recentering the front axle after lifting the truck.
BDS1224H includes BDS NX2 Nitro Series shocks designed for dependable everyday driving and long-term durability. BDS1224FS includes FOX 2.0 Performance Series Shocks to improve wheel travel, damping control, and off-road capability. BDS1224PES includes FOX 2.5 Performance Elite shocks with external reservoirs and DSC (Dual Speed Compression) adjusters, allowing independent tuning of high- and low-speed compression for maximum suspension control on any terrain.

Important Notes
Fits diesel models only
These kits are designed for the F-450-style front end. They do not work with the standard Ford Super Duty F-250/350 axle width.
Vehicles with radius arm-mounted ride height sensors will require BDS123303
Larger tires on stock wheels are not recommended due to the brake line clearance required. Use the recommended specifications listed in the tire and wheel fitment section.
Installation requires a torque wrench capable of 405 ft-lbs.
Recalibration of your vehicles' Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) cameras, radars, light detection and ranging (LiDAR), and other sensors may be necessary by your local dealership or ADAS service center. This will ensure proper functionality of vehicle features such as lane-keeping, lane-departure, parking assistance, blind-spot detection, adaptive cruise control, and other functions, as they did prior to installation. Please connect with your local dealership or ADAS service center. As with a wheel alignment, all charges and expenses arising from dealership calibrations and adjustments are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
