Eliminate a common suspension weak point and restore quiet, controlled shock performance with the BDS Bar Pin Eliminator Kit (SKU: 124022). Factory bar pin–style shock mounts offer little lateral support, allowing excessive bushing movement that leads to premature wear, vibration transfer, and the familiar thumping or rattling felt inside the cabin.

The BDS solution replaces the factory bar pin setup with a heavy-duty cross pin and precision mount blocks, converting the shock mounting point to a standard EB1 eyelet configuration. This design properly supports and preloads the shock absorber bushings, preventing unwanted movement while improving bushing life, ride quality, and overall shock performance.

Each component is manufactured from premium-grade steel with machined bushing contact surfaces to reduce friction and wear. The system retains the factory mounting alignment to prevent added stress on the shock body and bushings, while also providing nearly 1/2 inch of additional down travel for improved suspension articulation. Finished with a zinc-plated coating, these bar pin eliminators offer long-lasting corrosion resistance and are compatible with both OEM and aftermarket shock absorbers.
