The BDS Suspension BDS1434H / BDS1434FS 8.5-inch premium long arm suspension lift kit for the Jeep Cherokee XJ will allow for fitment of up to 35-inch diameter tires for a great off-road look. The BDS 8.5" XJ Long Arm system provides the best on and off-road capability you could ask for and is designed to clear 33x12.50s with room to flex. By maximizing the length of the upper and lower control arms, BDS has minimized caster change for optimum handling and minimized road forces transmitted ultimately to your seat for the best ride. To give you some idea, the lower arms are nearly bottomed out at just over 32" and the uppers at just over 28". This is about double the length of the factory control arms!

Although this XJ long-arm system makes for a great daily driver, the true abilities of this system won't be appreciated until you hit the rocks, dirt, and mud. The 4-Link design maintains better axle control through wheel travel than any radius arm system because the upper-to-lower link relationship is not fixed. Yet, it is tuned for optimum performance based on link length and operating angles. The control arm geometry is set up with the massive belly pan that incorporates the link mounts and is built to smash rocks. No welding to the uni-body is required nor recommended.

BDS Pro-Ride Coil Springs, built from 5160 spring steel & pre-set to withstand full coil bind with a tuned rate to lift the front. The rear is lifted with new Glide-Ride Leaf Springs, 2" lift blocks, and extended greaseable shackles that let the springs flex.

This system also incorporates BDS Ultimate sway bar disconnects for quick, easy access to ridiculous wheel travel and stainless steel brake lines to handle it. Bump stop extensions are included to limit compression and keep the tires out of the fenders on the trail. A front adjustable track bar fits into the existing frame mount, so drilling the taper is unnecessary and will allow you to center the front axle accurately. An extreme drop pitman arm matches the steering with/ the track bar angle.
