This BDS 1571FPE 4-Link 7" Coilover Lift Kit for the Ford F250/F350 Super Duty provides a true suspension upgrade while attaining a 7" lift. Fully convert your suspension to a 4-link high strength control arm design, offering improved handling, stability, strength and caster control during wheel travel. The brackets are made out of 1/4" steel and key off the factory frame bracket and transmission crossmember for extra strength. This kit also converts your front coil springs to Fox coilovers. Using Fox 2.5 Performance Elite Remote Reservoir Coilovers with DSC (dual speed compression) adjustability, these coilovers give unmatched ride comfort and performance. The DSC (dual speed compressions) adjustability gives the ability to fine tune your ride with the turn of a dial at low and high speeds. The forged drop pitman arm and heavy duty track bar relocation bracket supply correct steering angles and re-center the front axle. E-coated u-bolts are supplied along with Fox 2.0 gas shocks. Fox Coil-Over DSC AdjustmentThe included Fox coil-overs can be upgrade or include the awesome DSC (dual speed compression) adjuster. This feature allows you the ability to control how soft or stiff your coil-overs will ride at both low and high speeds. Simply turn one of two dials, each with over 10 click positions.  Ford 4-Link Long Arm UpgradeThis awesome upgrade replaces Ford factory radius arms with a 4-link long arm control arm system. This gives superior handling and ride control by giving consistant caster angle through full wheel travel. Controlling the axle movement with independent upper and lower links. |
| Important Notes1. Diesel engines ONLY 2. Ford recommends replacement of the pitman arm nut after each time it has been removed. 3. Use a small pitman arm puller to remove the drag link joint and steering stabilizer taper. 4. If your truck is equipped with a factory rear sway bar add: BDS123808 5. If your truck is equipped with a 2-piece rear driveshaft, a Carrier Bearing Drop Kit may be required: BDS123402. 6. Due to taller factory ride height, Tremor models will not net full advertised lift height. Final ride height will be the same as standard models. 7. Larger tires on stock wheel are not recommended due to brake line clearance required. Use recommended specs listed in wheel and tire fitment section. 8. The indexing ring is only compatible with 10 speed transmission trucks. Please verify your truck's equipment before installing. Transfer case indexing ring will not fit 6.2L vehicles equipped with the 6R100 transmission. 9. Indexing Ring has NOT been designed to work on manual shift transfer case models. Modification to the shift cable mount will be required. 10. Installation requires a torque wrench capable of 405 ft-lbs. 11. Due to factory ride heights being lower on 2020 and newer model year trucks, the net lift you will gain with this kit will be 1" more than advertised. (EX. 4" kit will net 5" of lift) |
