This BDS Suspension BDS1633H / BDS1633FS 5.5 inch Radius Arm Drop Kit for the Dodge Ram 2500 uses a pair of 1/4" thick steel radius arm relocation brackets in order to reposition the factory radius arm and correct suspension geometry and caster. Designed for quick installation, this kit uses both the factory radius arm frame mounts and the side of the frame rails. Additional height is achieved by progressive rate Pro Ride Coil Springs. The 5.5" coils were engineered and tested to improve the ride quality and performance on and off-road. A heavy-duty track bar relocation bracket is included in this kit in order to recenter the front axle once lifted. Sway bar relocation brackets are used to reposition the front sway bar assembly and the supplied brake line brackets provide easy adjustment.

Due to the redesigned suspension on the 2014 and up to 2500 trucks, this kit requires transmission/transfer case relocation components in order for the front driveshaft to run correctly. Laser cut transmission crossmembers and adjustable transmission mounting plates increase clearance. The transfer case is repositioned by the indexing ring kit included in the kit. 1/4" steel and 5" tall gusseted air bag spacers are used along with the rear track bar bracket, correcting axle positioning. New air ride leveling sensor brackets position the ride height sensors at the stock angle. This allows the rear suspension to be performed just like factory ride Height, maintaining full airbag range of motion.
