This BDS Suspension BDS719H 4.5 inch lift kit for the GMC Sierra2500HD and 3500HD trucks is an awesome suspension upgrade to allow fitment of up to 35 inch diameter tires. Once installed will give your truck a great new aggressive look. This kit features High Clearance one-piece front & rear crossmembers built from 1/4 inch laser cut steel and designed for maximum ground clearance. A massive skid plate connects the crossmembers while providing protection for the front differential. Heavy duty machined and cast steering knuckles replace the light-duty factory knuckles.Also included are stainless steel front brake lines, extended sway bar links and differential drop brackets. In the rear, the system comes with a 2" block and u-bolt setup that levels the vehicle perfectly. For those looking for a little more height in the rear, 3" or 4" rear block kits can be substituted in. Product Highlights Fox 2.0 Performance Series Fox 2.0 Performance Series shocks are included in this kit or offered as an upgrade option. These awesome shocks feature a 2 inch clear anodized aluminum one-piece body. Designed as a gas mono-tube with an internal floating piston (IFP) that has application specific valving for great on and off-road performance. GM High Clearance Crossmembers Utilized in this kit are high clearance crossmembers. These integrate with a heavy duty skid plate to form a solid sub-frame while dramatically increasing ground clearance at the front crossmebmers. Steering Knuckles Included are two heavy duty steering knuckles. These CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles replace the lighter duty factory knuckles. Powder coated to survive the elements. Providing a safe and stable method to correct steering geometry on a lifted vehicle.
Important Notes- Models with two piece rear driveshaft may require Carrier Bearing Drop #121612 (listed under optional accessories). - Stock 17" and 18" wheels cannot be reinstalled. Stock 20" can be used with up to a 35.12.50 tire. - Torsion Bar Tool required to load/unload the torsion bars. - Requires frame bracket and differential modification - Factory dually wheels cannot be reinstalled.
