Skyjacker C140BKS 4 Inch Suspension Lift System for 1973-1986 GMC 3/4-Ton Pickup trucks is designed to increase ground clearance, improve off-road capability, and deliver a more aggressive stance while maintaining dependable ride quality. This complete suspension system utilizes replacement front and rear leaf springs to provide a true suspension lift, helping maintain proper suspension travel, load-carrying capability, and long-term durability. The kit includes replacement front and rear leaf springs, front and rear U-bolt kits, and a leaf spring bushing kit for a comprehensive suspension upgrade. By replacing factory spring packs rather than relying solely on lift blocks, the C140BKS restores suspension performance while providing a balanced 4-inch lift. The additional ride height allows clearance for up to 35x12.50 tires, improving both trail capability and overall vehicle appearance. Multiple shock options are available to suit a variety of driving styles and applications. Choose from no shocks for custom builds, Black MAX shocks for dependable daily driving, Hydro 7000 hydraulic shocks for a smooth ride, Nitro 8000 nitrogen-charged shocks for enhanced control, or M95 monotube shocks for improved damping consistency and off-road performance. | Important Notes1. Raised steering arm CA100 is required, but sold separately or as an option. Needed to maintain proper steering angles. 2. Fitted leafs are available for additional weight capacity (big block or diesel engine) 3. If equipped with a front sway bar, lowering brackets are required: SKU SBL20 4. Recommended brake lines: 7200 GVWR or less 3/4 tons recommended brake lines: 1979-1987 3-4 inch lift front #FBL17 and rear #RBL21. 1973-1978 3-4 inch lift front #FBL16 and rear RBL21. 8800 GVWR or greater 3/4 tons recommended brake lines: 1979-1987 3-4 inch lift front #FBL27 and rear #RBL21, 1973-1978 3-4 inch lift front #FBL26 and rear RBL21. 5. This model came equipped with both 52-inch and 56-inch long rear leaf springs (eye to eye measurement). Please measure your rear leaf springs prior to ordering to determine which your vehicle requires. 6. Note: This lift kit is available to purchase without shocks, however extended shocks are required to install properly. |
