Built around heavy-duty replacement leaf springs and quality suspension components, this complete system maintains dependable handling while providing clearance for up to 33-inch tires. Multiple rear shock options are available, allowing the suspension to be tailored for everything from daily driving to demanding off-road use. The kit includes heavy-duty front replacement leaf springs, rear lift blocks, front and rear U-bolt kits, and a leaf spring bushing kit to restore suspension performance and deliver a reliable 2.5-inch lift. Engineered for a straightforward installation with no cutting or welding required, this system provides a durable upgrade while preserving the rugged dependability of your classic Chevrolet truck. Customize the ride with your choice of Skyjacker Black MAX shocks for dependable everyday performance, Hydro 7000 hydraulic shocks for a smooth factory-like ride, Nitro 8000 nitrogen-charged shocks for improved control, M95 monotube shocks for enhanced handling and heat dissipation, or purchase the kit without shocks if you already have compatible dampers. | Important Notes1. Steering Correction: Models equipped with 3-Bolt Open Steering Knuckle require a drop pitman arm, CA50, but it is sold separately or as an option. Needed to maintain proper steering angles. 2. Steering Correction: Models equipped with 4 Bolt Closed Knuckle, Offset Drag Link GMDL4 required, but sold separately or as an option. Needed to maintain proper steering angles. 3. Fitted leafs are available for additional weight capacity (big block or diesel engine): 4-inch FLC140; use ubolt kit UCCF 4. 8800 GVWR or greater recommended brake lines: 1979-1987 3-4 inch lift front #FBL27 and rear #RBL21, 1973-1978 3-4 inch lift front #FBL26 and rear RBL21. 5. Note: This lift kit is available to purchase without shocks; however, extended shocks are required to install properly. |
