The Skyjacker C140CKS 4-Inch Suspension Lift Kit for 1977-1986 Chevrolet 1-Ton 4WD pickup trucks is built to provide increased ground clearance, improved off-road capability, and the rugged stance classic heavy-duty Chevy trucks deserve. Featuring heavy-duty replacement leaf springs and premium suspension components, this complete system allows clearance for up to 35-inch tires while maintaining dependable handling and durability for both work and recreation. Multiple shock options are available, allowing you to tailor the suspension to your preferred ride quality and performance. The kit includes replacement leaf springs, front and rear U-bolt kits, and a leaf spring bushing kit to restore suspension performance while providing a true 4-inch lift. Designed as a bolt-on system with no cutting or welding required, the suspension maintains factory mounting locations for a straightforward installation while improving ground clearance and overall capability. Choose the configuration that best fits your driving style with available Skyjacker Black MAX shocks for dependable daily performance, Hydro 7000 hydraulic shocks for a smooth factory-like ride, Nitro 8000 nitrogen-charged shocks for improved control, M95 monotube shocks for enhanced damping consistency, or purchase the kit without shocks if you already have compatible dampers. | Important Notes1. Steering Correction: Models equipped with 3-Bolt Open Steering Knuckle require a drop pitman arm, CA50, but it is sold separately or as an option. Needed to maintain proper steering angles. 2. Steering Correction: Models equipped with 4 Bolt Closed Knuckle, Offset Drag Link GMDL4 required, but sold separately or as an option. Needed to maintain proper steering angles. 3. Fitted leafs are available for additional weight capacity (big block or diesel engine) 4 inch FLC140, use ubolt kit UCCF 4. 8800 GVWR or greater recommended brake lines: 1979-1987 3-4 inch lift front #FBL27 and rear #RBL21, 1973-1978 3-4 inch lift front #FBL26 and rear RBL21. 5. Note: This lift kit is available to purchase without shocks; however, extended shocks are required to install properly. |
