The Skyjacker C160BKS 6-Inch Suspension Lift Kit for 1973-1986 GMC 3/4-Ton 4WD pickup trucks is designed to provide maximum ground clearance, increased suspension travel, and a commanding lifted stance while maintaining dependable ride quality and durability. This complete suspension system utilizes replacement front and rear leaf springs to achieve a true 6-inch lift while providing clearance for up to 37x12.50 tires. Multiple Skyjacker shock options allow you to customize the suspension for daily driving, towing, or demanding off-road use.

Unlike lift kits that rely on rear lift blocks, the C160BKS includes heavy-duty replacement front and rear leaf springs for balanced suspension performance, improved articulation, and restored load-carrying capability. The kit also includes front and rear U-bolt kits along with a complete suspension bushing kit to ensure a secure installation and reliable long-term performance. Designed as a complete bolt-on suspension system, installation requires no cutting or welding, making it an excellent upgrade for restoring and lifting classic GMC 3/4-ton pickups.

Choose the shock package that best suits your driving style with Skyjacker Black MAX shocks for dependable daily performance, Hydro 7000 hydraulic shocks for a smooth, factory-like ride, Nitro 8000 nitrogen-charged shocks for improved handling and control, or M95 monotube shocks for superior damping consistency and fade resistance. Built with Skyjacker's proven suspension engineering, the C160BKS delivers the strength, ride quality, and capability needed for both hardworking trucks and serious off-road builds.

2. Fitted leafs are available for additional weight capacity (big block or diesel engine)
3. If equipped with a front sway bar, lowering brackets are required: SKU SBL40
4. Recommended brake lines 7200 GVWR or less 3/4 tons recommended brake lines: 1979-1987 6-8 inch lift front #FBL19 and rear RBL20, 1973-1978 6-8 inch lift front #FBL18, rear #RBL20. 8800 GVWR or greater 3/4 tons recommended brake lines: 1979-1987 6-8 inch lift front #FBL29 and rear RBL20, 1973-1978 6-8 inch lift front #FBL28 and rear #RBL20.
5. Driveline / exhaust modifications may be necessary.
6. Transfer case lowering kit may be necessary, SKU TCL15
7. This model came equipped with both 52-inch and 56-inch long rear leaf springs (eye-to-eye measurement). Please measure your rear leaf springs prior to ordering to determine which your vehicle requires.
8. A raised steering arm CA100 is required, but sold separately or as an option. Needed to maintain proper steering angles.
9. Note: This lift kit is available to purchase without shocks; however, extended shocks are required to install properly.
