The Skyjacker C225AKS 2.5-Inch Suspension Lift Kit for 1967-1972 Chevy 1/2-Ton and 3/4-Ton Pickup 4WD models is a complete front and rear leaf spring suspension system designed to increase ground clearance, tire clearance, and overall suspension capability. The system combines Skyjacker Softride front and rear leaf springs with front and rear U-bolt kits, suspension bushings, and supporting hardware for a comprehensive suspension upgrade. Shock configurations include no shocks, Hydro 7000 shocks, Nitro 8000 shocks, BlackMAX shocks, or M95 shocks.

Skyjacker 2.5-inch Softride front leaf springs replace the factory front spring packs to increase front ride height while maintaining controlled suspension movement and useful articulation. At the rear, 2-inch Softride leaf springs replace the factory spring packs to complement the front lift and create a balanced stance. Using replacement leaf springs at both axles provides a full spring-based suspension upgrade rather than relying on rear lift blocks for the primary increase in ride height.

Front and rear U-bolt kits secure the replacement spring assemblies to the axles, while the included bushing components support smooth and controlled suspension movement at the spring mounting points. The matched front and rear Softride configuration provides dependable handling on pavement while allowing the suspension flexibility needed for trail driving and uneven terrain. Increased ride height also provides additional chassis clearance and room for larger tire combinations.

You can order the C225AKS without shocks or with Skyjacker Hydro 7000, Nitro 8000, BlackMAX, or M95 shocks. Hydro 7000 shocks provide velocity-sensitive hydraulic damping for smooth, predictable ride control, while Nitro 8000 shocks use gas-charged damping for a firmer, more responsive suspension feel. BlackMAX shocks feature a foam-cell hydraulic design for consistent performance, while M95 shocks use a high-pressure monotube design for improved damping consistency and heat management.
