The TeraFlex 1335000 Alpine RT Coilover Suspension System for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited models is a 4.5-inch long-arm coilover system engineered for high-performance on-road handling, extreme suspension travel, and serious off-road capability. Designed for applications using 70-inch-wide Tera60 or equivalent axles with 3.25-inch axle tubes, this system combines the control, flex, and stability of TeraFlex RT4 long arm suspension with JK-specific Falcon 3.3 Series Quick Adjust coilovers. The system provides approximately 4.5 inches of lift with +/- 1.25 inches of ride-height adjustability and uses 12-inch-travel front and 13-inch-travel rear coilovers to increase usable suspension travel and articulation dramatically. The RT4 long-arm suspension provides the foundation for the system, repositioning the control-arm mounting points to improve suspension geometry and reduce the steep control-arm angles associated with taller short-arm suspension systems. This lets the suspension cycle through a greater range of motion while improving axle control, stability, and ride quality. Heavy-duty 1/4-inch laser-cut reinforced coilover brackets are welded into position to optimize shock placement and provide unobstructed suspension cycling. Refreshed TeraFlex SpeedBumps provide progressive control at the limits of suspension compression, delivering up to four times the bottoming resistance while operating quietly during demanding suspension movement. Falcon 3.3 Quick Adjust Coilover SystemFalcon 3.3 Series Quick Adjust coilovers are tuned specifically for the Jeep Wrangler JK rather than relying on generic coilover valving. The system uses JK-specific coils with standard 3.0-inch coil springs and an adjustable crossover for a true dual-rate spring configuration. Quick-adjust damping provides additional control over suspension behavior, allowing you to tune the shocks for changing terrain and driving conditions. Oversized coated, booted, and sealed Gimbal Lock bearings maintain proper shock orientation while helping isolate the unwanted noise commonly associated with conventional coilover mounting systems. TeraFlex and Falcon also address several traditional sources of coilover noise. Hard-anodized shock bodies provide a smooth bearing surface for sealed and lubricated spring sliders, while roller-bearing spring seats allow the coils to move during compression, extension, and spring rotation without binding or creating excessive noise. The system is designed to minimize common coilover issues such as spring twang, slider movement, slider slap, and shock mount squeaks while maintaining the articulation and damping performance expected from a high-travel coilover suspension. Why Upgrade to a Long Arm Coilover System?A long arm coilover suspension is designed for applications where suspension travel, articulation, geometry, and damping performance take priority over installation simplicity. Compared with a conventional short-arm lift, the RT4 long arm configuration uses relocated mounting points and longer control arms to improve suspension geometry throughout travel. Combining this design with long-travel Falcon coilovers provides greater control over spring and damping characteristics while allowing significantly increased suspension movement. The result is a system intended to provide stable highway behavior, improved dynamic roll control and low-speed damping, and substantially greater capability over rough terrain. The 1335000 is an advanced weld-on suspension system requiring significant vehicle modification. Installation requires removing the factory control arm brackets and spring buckets, along with inner wheel well and frame trimming. This includes necessary frame bracing, wheel well boxing, and carpet. A front double Cardan driveline upgrade is required due to the increased suspension travel, and an alignment is required following installation. Wheels must have 4.75 inches of backspacing or less; stock wheels require two TeraFlex 1.75-inch Wheel Offset Adapter Pairs (part number 1057000), which are not included. Approximate installation time is 16 hours. Features and Benefits:
