Bronco 2021-2026 Ford - Front ST Pneumatic Dual Rate Sway Bar System by Teraflex

The TeraFlex 1780010 Front ST Pneumatic Dual-Rate Sway Bar for Ford Bronco models is designed to combine stable on-road handling with increased off-road suspension articulation through a convenient in-cab pneumatic disconnect system. Engineered to replace either the factory hydraulic sway bar or factory single-rate sway bar, the ST system allows the heavy street-rate torsion bar to be disconnected at the push of a button without requiring manual sway bar link removal. The dual-rate design maintains predictable handling on pavement while providing significantly greater suspension freedom on the trail.

In street mode, a large-diameter 4140 chromoly torsion bar provides the roll resistance needed for controlled highway handling and stability. When pneumatic disconnect mode is activated, the heavy street-rate bar disengages while a lighter trail-rate sway bar remains functional. This trail rate provides approximately one-quarter of the torsional resistance of street mode, allowing substantially greater suspension articulation while retaining useful sway control for side-hill and off-camber terrain. The system defaults to connected street mode for added safety.

Forged sway bar arms and a secure 12mm arm clamp bolt provide a durable connection designed to eliminate spline movement that can contribute to wear and unwanted body roll. Indexed internal alignment dogs help ensure proper engagement when returning to street mode, and the vehicle does not need to be level for the system to re-engage. Quiet bushing-mounted brackets help minimize noise and vibration, while the complete assembly bolts directly to the factory sway bar mounting locations for a clean, integrated installation.
