Certain models feature a piggyback or remote reservoir design with a unique 6061-billet aluminum manifold for enhanced performance. This manifold, positioned just below the shock's top cap, incorporates an internal Bump Zone, increasing damping force by 20%. This additional force minimizes harsh bottom-outs and improves suspension control during high-velocity compression. Key features include ICON's exclusive Compression Damping Control Valves (CDCV), which allow precise suspension tuning through fluid flow management under compression. This technology offers 10 levels of high-resolution compression adjustability with a simple knob turn, ensuring optimal performance for various terrains—be it street driving, rock crawling, or high-speed desert racing.

Constructed with one-piece, hard anodized, impact-extruded aluminum cylinders, these shocks provide excellent corrosion resistance and a consistent finish. They utilize premium grade 5WT shock oil for consistent damping across a wide temperature range. They also feature a nitrogen-charged monotube design with a remote reservoir for superior heat dissipation and reduced shock fade. Additional features include a 7/8” diameter induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft, a one-piece digressive piston design with vehicle-specific valving, and PTFE-lined spherical bearings with application-specific mounting hardware. The shocks are crafted from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC machined components and come with a rubber dust boot for added shaft protection.
