Old Man Emu BP-51 Front Coilover Shock Absorber, Part Number BP5190026L (Left Side), is engineered specifically for the 3rd-generation Toyota Tundra to deliver premium on-road and off-road suspension performance. Drawing directly from motorsport technology, the BP-51 series was developed and extensively tested under Australia’s harshest conditions to ensure exceptional durability, control, and ride comfort in real-world environments.

This fully assembled BP-51 coilover features a large 51mm (2-inch) internal bore and advanced position- and velocity-sensitive internal bypass technology. This design allows the shock to remain smooth and compliant during everyday driving while progressively increasing damping force near the end of the stroke to control hard impacts, reduce body movement, and improve chassis stability when driving aggressively off-road. A remote reservoir increases oil volume to maintain lower operating temperatures and deliver consistent, fade-free performance during extended use.

External, on-vehicle adjustability provides 10 levels of compression and 10 levels of rebound tuning, allowing precise suspension customization based on terrain, load, and driving style. The coilover includes a preload-adjustable collar that allows up to 3 inches of front lift regardless of front-end weight, making it ideal for both stock and heavily accessorized builds. Constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum with a Type III 40-micron hard-anodized finish, the BP-51 offers excellent heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and protection against stone damage.
