The Skyjacker C160BK 6-Inch Suspension Lift Kit for 1973-1986 Chevrolet 3/4-Ton 4WD pickup trucks is engineered to provide substantial ground clearance, increased tire clearance, and dependable suspension performance for both work and off-road use. Built around heavy-duty replacement front leaf springs, this complete suspension system delivers a true 6-inch lift while allowing clearance for up to 37x12.50 tires. Multiple Skyjacker shock options let you tailor the suspension to match your preferred ride quality and driving style. The system includes heavy-duty replacement front leaf springs, rear lift blocks, front and rear U-bolt kits, a front leaf spring bushing kit, and brake line brackets to properly accommodate the increased suspension height. Designed to restore suspension performance while providing a level, aggressive stance, the C160BK installs without cutting or welding, making it an ideal upgrade for classic Chevrolet 3/4-ton pickups. Choose from Skyjacker Black MAX shocks for dependable everyday performance, Hydro 7000 hydraulic shocks for a smooth factory-like ride, Nitro 8000 nitrogen-charged shocks for improved control and handling, or M95 monotube shocks for consistent damping and enhanced fade resistance. | Important Notes1. Recommended 4-inch offset drag link available: SKU GMDL4 2. Fitted leafs are available for additional weight capacity (big block or diesel engine) 3. If equipped with a front sway bar, lowering brackets are required: SKU SBL40 4. Recommended brake lines 7200 GVWR or less 3/4 tons recommended brake lines: 1979-1987 6-8 inch lift front #FBL19 and rear RBL20, 1973-1978 6-8 inch lift front #FBL18, rear #RBL20. 8800 GVWR or greater 3/4 tons recommended brake lines: 1979-1987 6-8 inch lift front #FBL29 and rear RBL20, 1973-1978 6-8 inch lift front #FBL28 and rear #RBL20. 5. Driveline/exhaust modifications may be necessary. 6. Transfer case lowering kit may be necessary, SKU TCL15 7. A raised steering arm CA100 is required, but sold separately or as an option. Needed to maintain proper steering angles. 8. Note: This lift kit is available to purchase without shocks; however, extended shocks are required to install properly. |
